Prayer Wheels at Daishoin

Daishoin is an fascinating temple on Miyajima Island near Hiroshima. I found these prayer wheels, I assume that's what they are, interesting.

I love how the text on the wheels are so clear. I wish i could read the Japanese. Great depth of field, horizontal lines, and repeating elements.
