I think its a papillion(?)...its a toy dog.
I love the clarity of the shot and how you've captured her expression...wise choice on the framing...as it is...it looks like a human portrait and so when i see into its eyes...its expression is one of curious examination too. As I try to fathom its thoughts...its doing the same to me =D Great Job Steve!

What a beautiful dog! The only suggestion would be to crop the bottom to get rid of that black collar?
