The Weathercock HousePosted by Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 30 September 2007 in Architecture. Located in Kobe's Kitano district, this house is one of many built after the port of Kobe was opened to foreigners. This area has houses that look as though they could have been lifted from a place like Port Townsend, Washington in the USA. Japanese come here to enjoy the wetern atmosphere without having to leave Japan.
