This five storied turret was spared because the wind blew the flames away from it. It dates from 1607 and is, therefore, 400 hundred years old this year. Seeing this building and the remaining 13 one story turrets, like you will see tomorrow, made the trip down from Fukuoka definitely worthwhile.
