I like the long shadows and splashes of light. 10 Aug 2008 10:38am Ariel from Stuttgart, GermanyGreat moment! The light is perfect, I wish I was there at that time! 10 Aug 2008 10:38am don from spokane, United StatesI like the soft, subdued colors of the distant monoliths. The closer, more vibrant outcropping makes a good foreground object. A fine landscape! 10 Aug 2008 2:17pm Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomIt's nice to see the daylight turning to dusk, which is a great time to take photos. This one is super, and I can imagine where shadows exist it becomes rapidly cooler...? 10 Aug 2008 5:37pm @Observing: Yes, it does. However, the early morning temperature difference is more noticeable. After the sun was up and it was getting hot, we passed into the shadow of a large rock monolith. The temperature in the shade was dramatically cooler. Helma from Tehran, IranWow .. amazing place ! and wonderful captured ! 10 Aug 2008 8:01pm DarkElf from Perth, Australiathe light is indeed superb! late evening sunset tones really underline the natural bronze colour of the rock formations and your compostion work very well here too! 11 Aug 2008 3:29am |
