Grandpa's CornfieldPosted by Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 13 August 2008 in Lifestyle & Culture. On the trail to the White House, we met a young fellow whose grandfather planted the cornfield you see here. The two trees in the field are a peach and an apricot. Grandpa lives in a hogan near the field. I wanted to take a picture of his home but out of respect for his privacy and all the signs posted saying "No Photographs", I did not. Part of The Great American West series.

Observing from West Cheshire, United KingdomIt seems a bit out of the way place, but another great shot to your collection. 13 Aug 2008 2:57pm Michael Skorulski from Cigel, SlovakiaSuch a vast landscape taken from an excellent vantage point. Really nice. 13 Aug 2008 3:06pm |
