@Ronnie 2¢: According to a little WEB research, the Durant Motors Corporation was in business from 1921 to 1932 (or 1934, depending on source) when it was declared bankrupt.

This is a fabulous hood ornament. Those were the days...heavy chrome and style in creating car decorations! Very nice shot.
