Beautiful photo. 5 Apr 2009 9:24am observing from North West, United KingdomA great angle with the inclusion of the barriers; am I right in thinking these bridges are only on country roads...? 5 Apr 2009 2:11pm @observing: Most of the bridges I've visited so far have been in more rural settings. It has been fun finding them (a GPS unit helps a lot although mine keeps wanting to take me on logging roads which I try to resist). Almost all have private land all around them (with No Trespassing signs) so, it's difficult to get decent angles for photography. However, the most impressive bridge sits right beside the street in Cottage Grove. That will be coming up a bit later. john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesTerrific in B&W. One of our favorite bicycle rides is through a series of covered bridges. 5 Apr 2009 2:39pm john4jack from Corvallis, Oregon, United StatesJust read your commentary; this one is in our neck of the woods. 5 Apr 2009 2:40pm Veronique from Sarrouilles, Franceohhh makes me think of the Roseman in "The Bridges of Madison County" ...one of my favorites film 5 Apr 2009 7:35pm Charles from New York, United StatesBeautiful shot.
