Fisher School Covered BridgePosted by Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 5 May 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio. Built in 1919 or 1927 (county records conflict), this 72 foot (21.9 meter) bridge of the Howe truss type spans Five Rivers in Lincoln County, Oregon, USA. It has a 15 ton (13.6 metric ton) load limit. This bridge has obviously been rebuilt recently, although I've found nothing saying when. The trusses seem to be original with much of the remainder new material. Part of the Covered Bridges of Oregon series.
