Rochester Covered BridgePosted by Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 19 July 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio. Built in 1933, this 80 foot (24.4 meter) bridge of the Howe truss type spans Calapooya Creek in Douglas County, Oregon, USA. It has a 5 ton (4.5 metric ton) load limit. Please note the curved top windows in this bridge. Part of the Covered Bridges of Oregon series.
