Star CoopPosted by Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 23 August 2009 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio. This is the first coop I visited after looking through the tour pamphlet. It looked like a nice one and it is. It is made primarily from recycled house parts and has: a cement block floor, gutters, a septic system, a fan for hot summer days, a heater for chilly nights and storm windows. It's located in a beautiful backyard. Of the coops I visited, this is my favorite. Tour de Coops, Portland, OR, USA
