North Fork Yachats Covered BridgePosted by Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 17 September 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio. Built in 1938, this 42 foot (12.8 meter) bridge of the Queenpost truss type spans the North Fork Yachats River in Lincoln County, Oregon, USA. It has a 10 ton (9.1 metric ton) load limit. Note the faded red color. Part of the Covered Bridges of Oregon series.

I enjoy seeing these bridges very much. This one has a special effect in that the opening at the end of the bridge has the effect of making that scene seem extra bright - gets lots of attention.
