Avalanche Lilies at Berkley Camp. I was surprised to see these in bloom at the end of July. The breeze at Berkley Camp was relatively calm allowing the biting flies and mosquitos to attack with much vigor. Since I had forgotten the bug repellent, I came home with many itchy red bumps.

I love lilies...the bright white and yellow against the foliage is breathtaking. A perfect trio :)

Hope it wasn't the biting kind.
Your vibrant greens are a dramatic backdrop for these lilies.
