CDs! Very commonly used throughout Asia for this purpose. I recommend anything by Aerosmith.

CDs. As they twirl and deliver flash of lights, they are supposed to frighten them. I'm not really sure it's efficient. Nice garden Steve, so green.

The shiny disks look a little too big for CDs - perhaps the ancient and forgotten laser disk format! Lovely lines and refreshing green you capture here.

It must takes lots of hoeing and work to keep it looking so good.

The one I can see almost looks like a cymbal...Look at that dirt! What a fantastic garden I'll bet this is...looks like volcanic ash ;-)
