Above the main entrance to the Nebraska State Capitol. It was written by Hartley Burr Alexander, Professor of Philosophy. His philosophical ideals are inscribed throughout the building.

This is a beautiful wall, beautiful tones, great msg, but something is missing in composition of this picture. Maybe not so fortunate angle to get this picture with better symmetry or so ... not sure, but somehow something is missing . Sorry for my honesty !

Very beautiful architecture in the stone here and I love the covered wagon symbol
of building and settling the American west. The background is covered in golden
tones behind the scene which brings out the carving very nicely. You really have
photographed it very well.
