@xavier cardell: Yes, I used a polarizer here. I often don't in the desert but, I wanted to pull the blue out of the sky and red from the rocks.

A PoV that makes it seem like any one of those rocks or gravel could come sliding down. The shaded area really emphasizes the salt's presence.
