Where was it taken? Japan?
I know there are quite a few abandoned factories, old buildings, ruins in Japan.
Great place to explore and take photos.

@London Caller: It was taken in the old mining ghost town named Monte Cristo. It's located on the west slopes of the Cascade Range in Washington state, USA.

I like all the details here, all so rich of nostalgia, could have been shot so long ago, i like the quality of your B&W a lot, mute silver, with the deep black up there to fill in the compo. Very authentic.
