A Mirage?

Am I delirious? I think I see Palms in this harsh landscape. This must be the Fortynine Palms Oasis.

Whatever the diagnosis, it truly appears to be an oasis, and most beautiful.
The mountain looks like gravel and is so fantastic, the colors are brilliantly

@Viewfinder: I saw no flowing water when I was there. But, there is water not far below the surface to support the rather abundant plant life.
