Shi Shi Beach Trail

Posted by
Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 8 May 2012 in People & Portrait.

We will be back in Bali soon but, let's take a brief detour first. A short while ago, my son, Daniel, and I went to the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State, U.S.A. We went to check out Shi Shi Beach and Cape Flattery. Shi Shi Beach is part of Olympic National Park. The trails leading to the beach are on the Makah Indian Reservation.

This trail is a little more than two miles (3.2 kilometers) each way. It's a nice trail except for many muddy patches and the steep descent to the beach.
