Column Remnants

Posted by
Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 24 June 2014 in Architecture.

The remains of Corinthian columns from the second capitol (first state capitol). These were located on state owned property in 1980 and brought to the Capitol grounds for their historical interest. The bricks used for the inner core of the columns and for the building were made by prisoners at the Oregon State Penitentiary.
