The lady on the right is my friend, Celina. I've known her for thirty years; we worked together for a good portion of that time. She's a beautiful, as is obvious, smart, and hard working individual. She received a service award and asked me to photograph the occasion. So, I gave it a try.
The lighting was a combination of diffused speedlight, off camera, and overhead light of unknown type. Plus, a bit of window light was bouncing around. I used an X-Rite Colorchecker Passport to get my colors correct. It's an easy to use tool that works like magic.
