During the 1920s, the Utah Parks Company built lodges at Cedar Breaks National Monument, Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks, and the North Rim of the Grand Canyon. This building is the only structure remaining. It was the generator shed that supplied electricity to the lodge. When the lodge was torn down in 1972, this building was forgotten. It's just off the trail to Spectra Point.
