Last fall, before the weather got too nasty, we went for a short hike in the Cougar Mountain Regional Wildlife Park. From 1863 to 1963, this area was busy with coal mining both on the surface and underground. Some of the tunnels have collapsed exposing dangerous holes so, stay on the trail. Alex got a thorough talking to when he wanted take off in his usual exuberant fashion.
