First Amendment Rights

Posted by
Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 15 April 2018 in Documentary & Street.

The honking was in support of these folks exercising their freedom of speech and assembly rights granted by the Constitution. I asked if I could take their photo. They enthusiastically agreed.

*** My son, Daniel, has had another short story published. You may read it here. It''s quite good. ***

Freedom of speech is an important thing. I read Daniel's work with a translator and it is interesting. He clearly observes life around her. He also has narrator talents.

Great capture and beautiful colors . It is special because it is not a demonstration against a single thing but a set of things which should be respected

Graciel·la (Vic. Catalonia) from CAT. New European State, Poland

Going outside to claim what we consider fair is good. Today I'm very tired. I just arrived from a Demonstration in Barcelona for the release of prisoners and the return of leaders abroad . Between 315,000-700,000 people according to who gives the data (police or organizers). The spanish government, deaf.

I leave the link of this news in English. . in case you are interested.

too bad more people aren't willing to take an American patriot stand against what's going on in our country

i don't know why our elected congressmen and senators are lying back and letting a spoiled baby put us in such danger

your son's writing is exceptional. i hope he uses his abilities for a good career and i hope he has freedom to do so.

I hope robots don't take up any assignments and that there are no troopers anywhere in the world.
The writing is brilliant, the narration superb and excellent language.......but one feels terrible after reading this..
I am saying this because I am also a writer !
