As I mentioned, I like the Ocotillos. This is probably the most interesting individual I've seen. It has lots of stems and lots of secondary branching which you seldom see. Also, that crazy wild look is just great. ;-)

@Ronnie 2¢: Exactly right. That is another name for the plant and a very apt one. When the wind blows, these stems can whip around wildly.
