Battered But Not Broken

Posted by
Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 5 March 2019 in Plant & Nature.

These pretty Iris were blooming at the end of January. When the snow arrived, I checked on them and found they were buried. Being under a big tree, they escaped the worst of the snow. After the melt, there they were.

Tomorrow, we will return to the Upper Big Creek Loop Trail hike.

My Spotlighted Images

I'll be busy the next few weeks. Commenting will be spotty at best.

The rusty pipe is a little too bad, but you have to accept the sad reality and show it. The small irises are wonderful in this intense purple blue. I love it! I love it!
