The homeless encampment, of yesterday, from a different direction. The City has cleaned up the garbage and placed receptacles to help keep the area clean. Just out of view, to the right of the frame, is a sign proclaiming, "No Trespassing or Camping on City Property".

Some community service groups are trying to develop permanent housing for the homeless but, progress is slow.

Homelessness is a difficult problem. For some it is a way of life and for the other it is a must.

Pascale MD from Occitanie, France

J'éprouve une grande tristesse devant la vie qui est celle de certaines personnes encore à notre époque et au travers le monde.
Une image très parlante sur le travail que nous avons à accomplir pour leur offrir une vie décente.
Bonne journée Steve

The problem with homelessness is getting worst, and needs to be fixed.

Rick from Toronto, Canada

A brutal commonplace issue worldwide, and hard to see when you personally can't do much to help the many. Toronto has a huge homeless population and there seems little by way of solution. An truthful doc shot.

A site that remains out of sight and out of mind. You bring this to light very well.

Adela Fonts from Barcelona, Spain

It is difficult to get the homeless to let themselves be helped. In Barcelona they have shelters for them but do not want to use them.

I was amazed at how many homeless people I saw in the Seattle area. I know there are many in Dallas/Ft. Worth also.

It is such a sad way to live. It is hard to believe some of the situations that lead people to live in this condition. This is a great documentary image.
