Alpine Bistort

Posted by
Steve Rice (Olympia, United States) on 16 September 2019 in Plant & Nature.

It was getting foggier and darker as we climbed. We went a bit further because Alex wanted to see the bear that some people coming down the trail told us about. By the time we got to the described spot, it was too dark and foggy to see the bear which had probably moved on anyway.

Interesting too in bw. In the foreground, the feather dusters we see are called hare tails in France. LOL!

An excellent low PoV captured of these field blossoms which evoke abundance here! Given the darkness you were encountering, I am glad the bear moved on. :-)
